2014-09-14 02:52:19 Citizen News Service is an organization that is based in India but covers a global reach in terms of timely information dissemination about current and emerging health issues and concerns that are affecting communities else where in the world. It engages “Citizen Journalists” who speak and write about health, health related issues that affecting their local communities. It is through CNS that the voiceless are heard locally, regionally and globally. Aside from giving people a platform to speak up. CNS also provides technical assistance in building capacity of local people elsewhere to speak up, write about issues that are affecting their lives- as it is. CNS uses combination of media (print newspapers, TV, FM radio, websites and other forms of media ) to get the information to its wide readers.
