Since I started @marianaql.science back in 2020, my goal has been to make complex scientific information more accessible. At the start of the pandemic, I saw a real need for clear, reliable information about COVID-19, and I used my platform to help fill that gap. It was a vital channel for sharing updates about the virus, the progress of research, and safety measures. Through my posts and interactions, I was able to answer questions, address concerns, and help debunk misinformation. But it wasn't just about information dissemination. Social media also provided a sense of connection and community at a time when many of us were isolated and anxious. It helped us feel less alone in a time of great uncertainty. As the pandemic has evolved, so too has my account. I've expanded my content to include more topics related to STEM education, academic tips, and insights into my Ph.D. life. But the core mission remains the same: to make science more accessible and relatable for everyone. In conclusion, I believe social media has played an essential role in our pandemic response. And as we continue to face global challenges, I'm committed to using my platform to inform, inspire, and connect with my community. We're all in this together, after all.
