Bart and MalariaWorld has for 10 years developed innovative ways to connect and engage malaria professionals around the world ,which is an extremely challenging, but enormously worthwhile goal.

Bart and Inga are real heroes for malaria. Their design of Malariaworld provides a forum for so many colleagues working in the field and a means to stay in contact and communicate that the overall effect is extremely positive, more so than any other venue. I enjoy seeing who is on line every week and so can keep in touch and know that when I fee it is necessary to make a remark, the response comes from knowledgeable friends. I endorse his (their) nomination...

Bart Knols, along with his wife Inga, have brought new life to the world of malaria control due to his incredible enthusiasm and eclectic interests. I have published articles with his open source MalariaWorld Journal and found his editorial assistance very valuable. The Jerusalem Conference that he and Inga organized also opened up a new frontier about successful malaria control by ecological modifications. I heartily endorse him and Inga as Malaria Heroes.
