Martin McKee is an inspirational advocate of public health and a champion for universal health care and equity. Professor of European Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine where he co-directs of the European Centre on Health of Societies in Transition (ECOHOST), and is research director of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
A leading figure in the field of health systems research, Martin has published over 700 articles and 40 books. He is hugely popular on Twitter, with more than 8000 followers, inspired by his willingness to challenge the status quo, enthusiasm and great sense of humour!
