Selection criteria
To determine the winners in each category, the Awards nominees are evaluated based on a set of selection criteria that are carefully considered. These criteria include:
- Number of votes received in their respective categories.
- Recommendations and testimonials from third-party sources, as well as individual statements provided by the nominees themselves. These statements highlighted the significance of social media in responding to the pandemic.
- The nominees' active dissemination of evidence-based COVID-19 information on their primary social media channels.
- Demonstrated online engagement and influence that is relevant to the specific Award category.
In cases where credible evidence of vote manipulation or any form of unethical conduct is identified, the connected nominees will be disqualified from the Awards.
It is important to note that the judges' decision is final, and no further communication or correspondence can be entered into.
